“Filthy! Never again. Stayed here last week. The lobby seats were dirty and ripped. The seats in the room were dirty. Cabinet doors were worn and moldy as was the bathroom door. Mirrors beside the bed were both cracked. Paint marks on the skirting boards, on the ceiling..shabby. Small insects on the room floor. Floor not cleaned. Hotel has no bar. No restaurant. No cafe. There is a canteen open only for breakfast. Even the lift had a fault which was scary. Hotel is located on the Gran Via which is undergoing road works and will be for some time. So you look out at a construction site..horrible. Gran Via is also the least desirable location in Madrid..dirty with some shady characters about. You have to drag your suitcases up a stairway to get into the hotel. No ramp and no one to help. Dust everywhere. You can only turn off the air conditioning by flipping the trip switch in a fuse box that they leave open for you. This is a hazard especially with kids about. Can't understand why it considers itself a 4 star hotel.”

“Wish i could give a 0 star. I never gave a review ever but this is one filthy, dirty disgusting hotel that forced me to write one. Floor seems never mopped, full of hair everywhere, dirty bedsheets, pillow covers and towels. Bathroom sink platform stick from previous use i guess. Front desk people have mountain load of attitude and exteremly rude. And absolutely no amenities even though booked premier room. On top hotel charged me 66 euros per day for one child that shared the bed. Please never never stay here. Oh one more thing, when you enter the hotel, there are about 8 or so step and u need to carry your heavy luggage yourself. Even though you are stuggling, front desk folks who are watching you will not come for any help.”
